i am in trisur in gandhiji naturopathy centre
priced at 4000 per week all inclusive its a good deal to detox
a lot of patients come for kidney issues and i am here for the same

the place is cosy simple
the chechis give u s saltless idly sambar and dosa:)
and are very caring
oil and water massages and herbal fresh juices


i have been also travelling across trishur and various temples
the south indian temples are so awesome
grand and serene !!!!

Nisbat has brought me back to what i left incomplete Feb 2007.......so here I am.....exploring FREEDOM, CONSCIOUSNESS, in a new form to what I am used to.....
my own exploring, unconventional approach to my own life maybe has lured me here.
Next two weeks maybe the most transforming in my life.....

MAHA SHIVRATRI

In Rishikesh today.......a windy cold day up in Lakshma Jhula.....in the mountains.....
a panaromic view, the Ganges flowing with swift over tone.....I was determined to take a dip and so I did , it being the holy day to do so ......I took 10 dips....br...was like rebirthing! and exhilarating....

The devotees throng in numbers to capture the essence of Kumbh mela...

BIRTHDAY IN PATHWAYS INTERNATIONAL

My nature quest continues....of all the places i reach PATHWAY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL on my 40th birthday...a sprawling campus.....lovely landscape and structures.....an hours drive from gurgaon it is so peaceful and rejuvenating.....I came here to meet my friends from Seattle Ravinder and Mayank....after 1.5 yrs they are back in India could not miss them....We took walks and talked and walked and talked...so much to share,,,
of course we also had our usual photo sessions...it has been a quiet introspective day...the year to come ahead is full of ideas and plans....yet right now right here I experience a serenity.....with friends who believe in me ......again NISBAT is at work

New haircut-courtesy my eight year old niece

Just the other day, Eshana my 8 yr old niece who is madly in love with Hannah Montana...suggested I have a haircut like that...Armed with a badge of Miley Cyrus, I dared to have one not quite the same but similar.....shes happy with the results....while taking this snap she wanted the fringe to be over the eye.....:)not quite so.........well i asked her advice and i got it! simple.....I am satisfied with the end result....At 8 she is already a teen......and at 39 I am also a teen...
so it matches......we argue, we sulk, we do homework together, we sing, we dance,
we fight over whos going to use the pc, and we babysit each other....oops I mean I babysit her.
She sees through my mock anger when she misbehaves.....my smile starts and she catches me...Bua she shouts...and giggles and I melt like chocolate on a hot day:)
Nisbat is infectious.......just cannot be away from it.

Just an hour's drive from Panchkula, is a place called Morni Hills....THis picture is of the adventure park there....opposite TIKKAR lake.....lovely picturesque place and so near to the city....Another world out there!haryana Tourism has developed a camp site out there for picnics and it is well maintained....I was pretty impressed....
Boating, trekking, rock climbing can be arranged here for groups.
Eco friendly is the order of the day!

Pounta Sahib

Situated on the banks of river Yamuna, Pounta Sahib Gurudwara was an intrinsic experience for me last month. I stayed inside for 2 days.....langar....kirtan....yamuna.....what else could i have wanted....

Nearby is the Kirpal Shila gurudwara where the rock on which Gurujee meditated around 300 yrs ago still is worshipped......a serene place......delicious langar and jaljeera!

Thanks to a friend, I just happened to discover Pounta Sahib and got a peek into more of my root culture-Sikhism.......Guru Gobind Singh jee used to have a KAVI DARBAR in the olden days....still held every full moon night.....

Back in Chandigarh today I just close my eyes and am transported back to Pounta Sahib!

Kalesar Mahadev

A serene path......leafy, earthy leads to this beautiful forest temple of LORD SHIVA...I heard locals saying a magical medicine is prepared there called shiv amrut.
a herbal concoction which is made by the ayurvedic doctor.....People come from near and far with dreams of healing......the pundit claims the lingam in the temple is 4000 yrs old.....As i walk I look at the Yamuna river, dreaming back to the days when this temple must have been first created.....

I take the medicine-infallible hope in power of nature remedies:)
Its black liquid, very bitter! yet strong enough to evince an interest in my sense of inquiry.......There is aboard which says diseases like cancer, arthritis can be treated successfully...............


Shiv amrut-nectar of the gods the very name gave me healing sensations/vibrations.....
I return tomorrow after 15 days.......this time not for the amrut but for Shiva himself......

Reflection

Time out.........to reflect...........to ruminate..........
the days have slipped to minutes and now moments..............experiencing each moment with awareness.......its a new vision.............its a mixed blessing.......
the journey intensifies........and with it comes a space....

Mcledo Ganj Nisbat

I visited Mcledo Ganj in March this year.......It was love at first sight....the narrow streets, the misty mountains, the international pot pourri of people ....it is enchanting and quaint......
I was back in June with my mother......I will return in August to work with JAAGO REE an ngo which works for rural women,......a tryst with real life......:)
Mumbai seems so distant now.....the land of Shiva beckons...

NAKO NISBAT

hey friends....am back after hibernation......have been traversing India's northern beauty....LAHAUL SPITI VALLEY.....this photo is at NAKO...gods own land.....I visited the temple with PADMASAMBHAVAS FOOTPRINTS......A BODDHISATVA OF MERIT.....
the lake here is so calm.........u can feel it.......vibrations of simplicity and peace and love resound in this small Tibetan village.....prayer flags carry messages of hope and cheer.........do visit it when u have the chance.....I can guide u how to go and where to stay........................lots of love

As i travel back to mumbai.....wondering in the universe.....where is my home....
this year amsterdam /uk/mumbai/pune/chandigarh/Bir were primary homes at various times......definitive? no.......permanent ? no.........purpose ful.........yes surely.......as i live moment to moment watching my own emotions-thoughts-in wondrous glory i marvel at my creator,,,,,our creator.....the khuda/god/deva/energy/light of which I am a part.....when problems get overwhelming or rather situations I open an atlas....and behold try to search for earth and then me.....yes i have my rightful place as all of us do have.....and yet the galaxies interconnect........and merge....
as the waves in the ocean.....the notes in musical masterpieces and in the voices of people around me.....the whispering of the trees......the sound of silence.....depths of my emotions......i watch wait breathe watch feel melt merge.....communicate around me with me in me....:) life is a miracle unfolding every moment.....

am very proud of him......He wanted to visit ganeshpuri however since I have been a gypsy he could not get in touch with me......I wish him all the best and am happy I met him just before he flew ....to Australia

MEHERBAANI

Yesterday I visited Meherabad, 6 kms from Ahmednagar-Maharashtra-India.
Its a pilgrimage spot of Meher Baba.....the Samadhi shrine is situated there.....

Its a beautiful, serene place spread over 2000 acres of land...I lived in the hostel accomodation.....The Samadhi shrine is very artistic and aesthetic....with murals on the walls...and the aarti every morning and evening is universal in nature....right from devotional songs in English/Hindi/Marathi to South Indian are sung there.
The walk from the hostel to the shrine connects one to Natures essence.....

Crystal connection

Yesterday I visited the Gargoti mineral museum in Nasik,Maharashtra.
It has a collection of crystal fromations found in mines all over India and some from abroad. The collection is vivid and varied. Very well maintained......
The museum also showcases a moon fragment and one from Mars......interesting stuff..

Metaphysicians, crystal healers and even lovers of art visit this place to have a collection.The Shiuva lingas from Narmada river were enthralling. So were the Ganesh crsytals from hIMALAYAS.
